Aileen is a dedicated small business owner who has called the foothills above Los Angeles home for over 25 years. With a deep passion for supporting her community, friends, and family, she firmly believes that every person is valuable and deserving of respect. Having witnessed firsthand the heartache of family members losing their home in the Paradise fire, Aileen understands the challenges of navigating such devastating aftermaths and is driven to make a positive impact.

Why did you join the LA Fire Justice team?

I chose to join the LA Fire Justice team because I felt so helpless after the Eaton fires. My oldest son's elementary school burned down, his middle/high school was damaged, and several friends' homes vanished overnight. I feel that by doing this work, I'm contributing something of value to help the community become whole again.

What is your favorite thing to do in LA?

I love hiking all of the amazing trails!
