Why did you join the LA Fire Justice team?
After relocating from South Bay to the Pasadena area, she and her son were embraced by a supportive community. Having spent the past several years rebuilding her life, she is deeply grateful and finds it incredibly fulfilling to give back to the very community that helped her overcome hardship.
What is your favorite thing to do in LA?
Definitely the beach! For Chanel, it’s her go-to spot to unwind and clear her mind. She’s been escaping to the shore for quiet moments since she was a kid, and you can still find her there, feet in the sand, lost in a good book.
