Kyley Douglas
LA Fire Justice Team

Kyley Douglas, a Pasadena, CA native, has been an engaged member of the Altadena/Pasadena community since childhood. She earned her degree in Communication from San Diego State University, where she honed her passion for storytelling and connection through extra curricular activities and community service. Outside of her professional endeavors and community engagement, Kyley is dedicated to maintaining a balanced lifestyle through exercise, cooking, and indulging in her love for writing screenplays.

Why did you join the LA Fire Justice team?

I joined LA Fire Justice because, like many, I watched the city and people I love suffer from the Eaton Fire and felt compelled to help. After volunteering and donating, I wanted to do more, and this opportunity resonated with me because of its hands-on approach to community outreach. From the moment I met the team, I felt welcomed, and what stands out most is that the people here have personally experienced this crisis, which deepens their commitment to supporting others and seeking justice.

What is your favorite thing to do in LA?

My favorite thing to do in LA is anything related to the Rose Bowl. I love running the 3.5-mile loop, and I've had the unforgettable experience of seeing Beyoncé and One Direction perform there. The energy is unmatched, especially during UCLA games or the iconic Rose Bowl Game on New Year’s Day. Outside of that, I enjoy exploring LA’s food scene, trying new brunch spots, visiting art museums, and discovering picturesque viewpoints around the city.
